Fearless

Today we took Vannah to get her shots for preschool.  We basically have been pumping her up for her shots for about a week now so she wouldn't be scared.  She has seen Emmett get shots and more done and seen him cry and reach for mommy and daddy; so we were worried about how she would act when that nurse came in with a shot for her.
Totally fearless.
Daddy came to hold her in case she jerked away and I sat next to her and told her to look at mommy.

She didn't even budge or shed a tear!
No watery eyes, no whimper, no nothing!
She looked at us like we were crazy.
Which I guess we are.
(boy, we don't give her enough credit...I think we were more scared LoL).

She was ready to go get her ice cream that we promised her becuz us wimp-parents thought our lil girl was going to be traumatized.
She walked outta that doctor's office so proud of herself; and definitely with a little swagger.
haha.
Fearless!

All her stats were good and in the 50th percentile with height at 39 inches and weight at 33 pounds.
(mr emmett is 29 inches and only 20 pounds but still a little rock star too).

Now all I have to do is panic and hope she gets into one of the three preschools that are done by lottery or first-come first-serve.

Our girls weigh the same. Too funny.

That's great. Emma becomes clingy and starts saying "I wanna go home" really loudly as soon as we hit the door. -erin
