Fourth of July

This was our 3rd Fourth of July here in Vegas and so far, the best too.  The first year, we had no clue where to go and went to see Fireworks at the M...big fail.  Last year was much better, we went to see fireworks at Green Valley Casino and found a great spot, except Emmett was just a little bittie baby and it was disgusting hot last year.  This year, we went back to our great spot, which was much more packed this year, but were right under the fireworks, no traffic getting out and we got to light of tons of fireworks (which are legal in Nevada).  And while it was more humid from the monsoon the day before, it wasn't as hot as last year.  Emmett also loved watching the fireworks...he hated the boom and made his sad face a few times, so Johnny held him through the main firework show and covered his ears.  I am surprised he did so well.  Savannah, of course, had a blast.  Watching fireworks in Vegas is still a lot different than going to the park at Yorba Linda and having a picnic, running into people we know, and listening to live music while watching the show.  Maybe next year, we will have to go down to Cali, cuz it has been 5 years since we have been there and I think the Savannah AND especially Emmett might have an even better time down there.
