I've never liked Spongebob Squarepants. Never. While it is not Savannah's favorite show, if it is on, she will watch it. Well that is done and over with. I guess some new "study" came out saying that this yellow dude is bad for 4-year-olds...but that is not the reason cuz I don't believe every single study or opinion. We are stopping Spongebob because the cartoon told Savannah that giving her daddy a kiss what gross and disgusting.
Lets break this down. A 4-year-old little girl who kisses her daddy goodnight when she goes to bed or goodbye he goes to work and even gives him a kiss on the cheek because she just "loves him", will no longer because Spongebob said not to.
WOW.
I never thought I would be one of "those moms" but I am one now. No more Spongebob. No more Max and Ruby (max and ruby isn't that bad because it is a learning show, but that is one other show we stopping letting Vannah watch becuz she would talk like max in a baby voice, when she should be talking like ruby, so this one was also axed a couple of months ago).
I will be monitoring Vannahs shows wayyyyy more from now on.
We explained to Savannah that Spongebob was wrong. She is back to normal but Spongebob is blocked now.

Yessssss!!!! I love you, Em. I've never seen a full episode (Josie hasn't seen it) but the thing I can't stand about it is how fast it moves! How can a child possibly follow that?!? Crazy. I like calm, slow shows. Totally boring and I'm a lame mom, but whatever. Josie can actually follow it and it doesn't make her all crazy. We like Mr. Roger's, lol. We got all the dvd's.
Mr Rogers is awesome! i grew up with him. i should start Vannah on that for sure! There are only a few shows that she is really interested in so I'm def gonna check all the ones out to make sure I approve. lol. Psh. i'm fine with being one of those moms for this reason. hehehe.
